CGC Testing

It’s that time of year!  Canine Good Citizenship testing will be held on Saturday, February 19th, beginning at 10am.  CGC Testing is open to all dogs, purebred or mixed breed, and is an excellent assessment of your dog’s basic obedience training.

You do not have to have been a student at The Kinetic Canine in order to sign up for testing.

For more information about the test, and to get a description of the test items, visit: http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/training_testing.cfm

Cost for the test is $10.  To sign up for your 10 minute time slot, e-mail Elizabeth at trainer@kinetic-canine.com or call 512-686-3050.

If you think your dog needs some practice before testing, a new Advanced class starts TOMORROW, Thursday Jan 27th from 7-8pm.  This 6 week class will prepare you and your dog for testing!

January Advanced Class postponed

The Advanced Pet Obedience class that was due to start tonight, January 13th at 7pm, has been postponed by one week, due to our unusually cold weather.  I think it’s going to be just a little too cold out at the field tonight, so we’ll wait for it to warm up before getting started.

See you next week!
