Flyball Class now registering!

The Kinetic Canine will be offering a new beginner flyball class starting on Monday, November 1st at 8pm.  Class will run for 6 weeks and introduce dog and handlers to the basics of flyball: jumping, ballwork, boxwork and passing.

What is flyball? Flyball is a fast-paced sport for dogs that love to run, jump and fetch tennis balls!  Teams of four dogs compete against each other in a relay race.  Each dog on the team runs down a lane of four jumps, hits a box to release a tennis ball, catches it, then turns around and runs back over the jumps… the fastest team wins!  Tournaments are held all over Central Texas most months of the year.

After having completed the beginner class, owners can opt to join the Hill Country Flyers and attend weekly practices to prepare their dogs for competition, if they choose.

For more information, visit the class webpage: http://http://www.kinetic-canine.com/dog-sports/flyball/, e-mail trainer@kinetic-canine.com, or call 512-686-3050.
